ClaimShield Pty Ltd ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

To provide our claims analysis service, we collect:

• Contact information: your name and email address
• Insurance documents: your insurance policy text (or PDF) and your claim decision/denial letter
• Payment information: processed by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details
• Analysis results: the AI-generated analysis, dispute letter, and accompanying reports

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly for:

• Analysing your insurance policy and claim decision
• Generating your dispute letter and supporting documents
• Delivering results to you via email
• Processing payment
• Improving our AI models (aggregated, anonymised data only)

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored on servers located in Australia (Sydney)
• Policy documents and analysis results are encrypted at rest
• Transmission is encrypted via TLS/SSL (HTTPS)
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
• We retain analysis results for 12 months, after which they are permanently deleted

4. AI Processing

Your policy and claim text is sent to DeepSeek's API for AI analysis. DeepSeek's privacy policy applies to their processing. We minimise the data sent by extracting only the relevant sections. Analysis results are stored on our Australian servers, not with DeepSeek.

5. Your Rights

Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information we hold
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)

6. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies only (no tracking or advertising cookies). We use Cloudflare for security and CDN, which may set a session cookie for bot detection.
